I first met Jess at the TRF at James River. I was there to take pictures and video of their adoptable thoroughbreds. She rode several horses that morning and each horse was a different age, personality and level of training. I was amazed and impressed by her ability to adapt to each horse and bring out their best. When I adopted my OTTB "Blue" from there in June I absolutely wanted Jess to help me bring him along. My original thought was that he would be a great trail horse that I could take to a local show or two as I had lost my confidence in jumping. Working with Jess for the past two months has been extraordinary. I have my confidence back! And because of her knowledge, encouragement, positive training, and help to create realistic goals, I have taken Blue through many "firsts" including cross country schooling - which we found he excels at!, our first jumper show - he was amazing!, and our first CT - we were 6th in dressage and 5th overall! I am so excited about the future and am just in awe by the talent that Jess is bringing out in me and Blue!

A one time evaluation visit is $35 to assess where your horse is in training (as every horse is different) This will just be ground work.
Every visit after is a regular lesson price.
